Luther “Ted” Ellis II,

​

Born a native of Prince George’s County, MD the eldest of two children from his parents Luther Sr. (Insurance Specialist) & Joan Ellis (Media Specialist).  Ted graduated high school locally achieving academic and athletic honors from DeMatha Catholic High School.  His BS undergraduate degree was attained from Manhattan College in Riverdale, NY.   Upon graduation Ted's passion for patient care lead him to work in the health care industry.  From 1996-2003  his medical expertise ranged from Physical Therapy, Emergency Care and Peripheral/Cardiovascular Technology.  Due to his high competency, proficiency and ability to perform in high stress situations Ted was recruited into the medical sales industry.  In 2013 Ted hit the ground running immediately building strong relationships and gainning valuable knowledge.  Soon after he was promoted to Territory Sales Manager of Washington DC & Maryland.  In this role he was an integral part of the top sales region in the country for several consecutive years. One of those years he was awarded the top national sales producer of the year.  

Blessed with the time and opportunity to be spend with his mother as her 10 year battle with cancer ended it occurred to him that not many people actually have the resources to spend that critical time.  Even worse this could mean the financial demise of a family.  

2018 marked the beginnings of EW Financial Services and Insurance, currently located in Southern Maryland.  Ted is supported  by his beloved wife of 19 years, two ambitiously energized teenage children and a loyal dog "Xavier".
